NAME CHANGE
July 13, 2004

Amanta Resources Ltd. confirms that it has received approval of the TSX Venture Exchange to a name change from “Cal-Star Inc.” to “Amanta Resources Ltd.”, effective July 13th, 2004. 

Shareholders are advised that they are entitled to a new share certificate(s) in the new name of the company on the basis of one common share under the new name for each one common shares held under its former name.

Shareholders will be sent a Notice and Letter of Transmittal with respect to the issuance of new share certificates when the proxy material for the upcoming annual meeting scheduled for August 31, 2004 is mailed in early August.  Although it is not necessary to exchange the old share certificates for new share certificates, shareholders are encouraged to complete the Letter of Transmittal and forward it as instructed in the Letter of Transmittal for registration in exchange for share certificates under the new name.   However, the present share certificates remain valid.

Shareholders who hold stock in "street form" may register such shares with the company's registrar and transfer agent or may contact their bank or stockbroker to ensure that they receive a new share certificate(s) evidencing the number of shares owned and registered in the new name of the company.
